You're using Chrome? Reminds me something BS said; if you don't see it I'll look into jQuery Chrome compatibility.

I would help, but I know that I could not do a great job. I have too many forums to check, and I am also on staff on the English support forum.

on Sun Nov 17, 2013 6:09 pm
Message reputation : 100% (1 vote)
Hello staff,

I am in the process of developing a script which display a users profile details upon clicking their profile. I've started work on it today and have much room to improve on it.

Old:

Updated:

It uses AJAX to load the users details into a small box, with a black overlay in the background. Clicking the black overlay closes the profile details of clicked user.

As my wonderful tester(s) you can report any bugs or Ideas you may have directly to this topic for me to look into. I love you

The current script has been developed for phpbb3, but If needed I can convert it to another version. Wink

Known bugs
Links in the profile box currently return false *do not open RESOLVED
Cannot retrieve text content from avatars to manage Friends/Foes RESOLVED

Ideas
• View Profile Link ADDED
• Send PM Link ADDED
• Send VM Link ADDED
• Add Friend Link ADDED
• Add Foe Link ADDED

Compatibility
• phpbb2 COMPATIBLE
• phpbb3 COMPATIBLE
• punbb COMPATIBLE
• invisionCOMPATIBLE

If you wish to test please provide your forum version you will be testing it on say so, thanks.

Please remember what happens in this topic stays in the staff room, distribution of the unfinished code to non-staffers is not allowed. I will hurt you Twisted Evil

When finished it will be available freely to all Forumotion users I love you

Merci beaucoup!

I has just resolved the first bug after realizing my blunder.. Embarassed I had the filter as the profile content parent. Shortened CSS too, I remembered its best to add new elements to the body and NOT the content you're clicking, I really gave myself a headache.

One blunder after another today, I am not with it. >.<

I can focus on the ideas now though, it seems pefect I love you

Yep, I'm actually shooting for that. With my recent changes it should be possible. Right now I'm working on the links.

I've added the following options:

• View Profile
• Send PM
• Send VM
• Add Friend
• Add Foe

I might remove visitor message because some boards have that disabled. I have to work out a few issues with Friends and foes though, because when you click the a users avatar I cannot retrieve the text content.

I'll probably need to write and if statement, I'm still so amateurish with those. lol!

Perhaps when I get it perfect I may propose it to the ESF? Its been awhile since we've had any new tutos there.

I got a lot of writing ahead of me, because I plan for it to work on multiple versions.

List of CCS Selectors

on Sun Nov 17, 2013 8:45 pm
It would help if someone would post a topic that list and explain the CCS selectors for punBB forums. It will need to be posted here - https://www.fmthemes.net/f14-coding-support . Also it needs to be marked as a sticky.

I wouldn't mind helping with that. I haven't used punbb that much, but it would be nice to have a reference.

I could probably write one up for phpbb3 too, ooo I memorized a lot of those selectors. hehe

Right you can use them to purchase special templates and special themes. I am thinking of more ways to use the points.
